What We’re Hearing from You

Thank you for sharing your comments and questions. Please continue using these channels — FredMeyerSeattleCBA.com website and [email protected] — we’ll provide updates in response.

Negotiations Are a Process

Negotiations are ongoing, and both parties continue to engage in meaningful dialogue. Bargaining is a complicated process. While reaching an agreement takes time, we’re hopeful given the progress being made. The Company is limited in what we can and cannot say or share at certain times during the process. Still, we remain committed to communication and will continue to share updates as they become available. Please check the website regularly for the most current information.

Updates from the Bargaining Table

Bargaining conversations have so far focused on updating contract language. The Company and Union bargaining committees have reached ten tentative agreements on key topics, including:

  • Status
  • Retail theft and discipline
  • Work authorization
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Scheduling

The next phase of bargaining will shift to economic proposals, including wages, healthcare, and pensions for retirement.

Website Access

The FredMeyerSeattleCBA.com site is now accessible in stores after a security update was corrected. If you are still unable to connect to the site using store resources, please tell your store leader so they can inform HR to resolve the issue.

Questions about Work Stoppage

We received several questions about a possible work stoppage. We understand the concern and are doing everything we can to find solutions before anything reaches that point.

The bargaining committees are scheduled to meet again on April 17 and during the week of April 28 before contract expiration.

By working together, we believe we can reach a good agreement while keeping groceries affordable.  We will keep you informed with these updates and on FredMeyerSeattleQFC.com.

Thank you for all you continue to do to serve and uplift our customers, communities, and your fellow associates.
