Fred Meyer and UFCW Local 367 bargaining committees are opening negotiations this week towards new contracts for the Tacoma area associates.
This first session of bargaining is provided time for the Union and Company bargaining committee members to meet and make introductions. Today, the Union bargaining committee gave their opening remarks and presented their non-economic proposals.
What’s New
The bargaining committees are scheduled to meet tomorrow, April 16.
Why it Matters
Bargaining for new contracts is a thoughtful process and can take time. By working together, discussing ideas, and finding areas of compromise, we can reach an agreement that is good for our associates and keeps groceries affordable, too.
