The Company and UFCW 3000 bargaining committees met this week to negotiate new contracts for Fred Meyer grocery and meat associates in the Puget Sound area.

The bargaining committees are scheduled to resume their talks on March 5 and 6.

The bargaining process is about discussing ideas, finding areas of compromise, and coming to a solution that is both good for our associates and keeps groceries affordable. It is important to note this thoughtful work is a necessary part of the process. It can take time to reach an agreement.
