Bargaining Discussions Reach Tentative Agreement on Portions of Meat Contract

The company and union bargaining committees met this week to continue discussions around new contracts for Seattle and Puget Sound area associates.

For these negotiations, our goals are to support our valued associates; and:
– Ensure a balanced agreement that supports you, our customers, and the communities we
serve
– Put more money in your pockets while keeping groceries affordable
– Secure your pension and provide low-cost, industry-leading healthcare

This week, the company had an exchange of ideas with Local 3000 and continued discussion around multiple portions of the contract and are pleased to reach a tentative agreement on topics in the meat contract. We are encouraged with our continued progress.

The Company and Union bargaining committees are scheduled to meet next week as we near the contract expiration date of May 3.

We will continue to keep you informed about negotiations on your contract. If you have any questions, reach out to members of management for answers or email [email protected].

Thank you for your continued uplifting service to our customers and communities.
